FRED BENZ

Award-winning photographer Fred Benz began his career in 1989 as an artist in residence in California’s Yosemite National Park. His Landscape/Nature work has been published in books, cards, calendars, magazines, and posters and his Fine Art prints sold to customers worldwide via galleries including The Ansel Adams Gallery and the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite. His awards include the top photographic prize in the 1993 Yosemite Renaissance International Art Show and a silver certificate in the 1996 California Exposition Best Of Show competition.

While Landscape and Nature photography has always been close to his heart, his skills with a camera and his knowledge and experience with lighting and composition translate into other photographic disciplines as well. In recent years, he has evolved into a Multimedia creative, earning degrees in both Media Arts and Marketing while creating a variety of photographic and video content for web and print. His skills with image manipulation, web design, digital drawing and graphic design establish a strong foundation for his inventive and creative artistry. And his commitment to high quality imagery is greatly appreciated by his clients.

After 25 years of living in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Fred is now based in the Central California city of Clovis.
